AROSC has a very active competition program. It consists of run six to eight track events per year, all but two of which usually include Races. Races are run in conjunction with TT and Intro Group but racers are only on the track with other racers. Cars are assigned to various classes depending on their speed potential; Alfas are classed separately from non-Alfas. Race events inlcude practice runs on Saturday with a qualifying race at the end of the day. On Sunday AM there is additional practice; the races take place in the PM.
Races have a strong emphasis on non-contact driving and safety. However, because of the increased potential for accidents, race drivers and race cars are required to have and use additional safety equipment. We normally run separate races for Alfas (The Alfa Cup) and non-Alfas. Details of the safety requirements can be found in the AROSC Competition Code. Additional information on Races at our track events is posted on this website. If you would like to receive emails anounnouncing our upcomming Time Trial events, please email your contact information to our Registration Director.
The next AROSC Race will be held on April 19 & 20 at Buttonwillow. We will run a 2 to 2.5 hour Enduro at the June Buttonwillow event IF we get enough cars to signup.
